John Lennon’s son slams ‘old grumpy dude’ Trump in scathing rant at ‘clown show’

John Lennon’s son Sean Ono isn’t holding back on his thoughts on Donald Trump.
Sean, the only son of the late Beatles singer and his wife Yoko Ono, took to X to share his thoughts about the former President’s response to Taylor Swift’s public endorsement of Kamala Harris earlier this month.
The 48-year-old song-writer spoke out after Trump posted: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” to Truth Social following the popstar’s official endorsement of his rival Harris.
While Sean admitted: “I have never been a fan of her music, although I can’t think of a single song so I don’t really know if I like it or not,” he added: “I know she is a uniquely successful American. A young woman who has done things in a way that no one has done before her,” speaking of Taylor.
“She is the kind of American that should be respected and in fact treasured,” he continued.

“We need more not less Taylor Swifts in our world,” the War Is Over actor urged, before noting: “People who thrive continually and consistently are exactly the kind of person both parties should embrace.”
Before he ripped into Trump, saying: “So for some old grumpy dude to get angry at her, no that’s not a good look.”
Sean then suggested: “A more ‘presidential’ or gracious criticism might have been something like ‘She is a brilliant young woman. I have a lot of respect for what she has accomplished. I don’t believe she knows the reality of the party she is endorsing.
“I hope her fans are able to make up their own minds and understand the big difference between a talent in music and an understanding of politics or economics’.”

After putting forward his idea of a more “reasonable” response Trump should have used, he quipped: “But ‘old man yells at moon’ is not a good look.”
Sean concluded his lengthy post by pointing out: “I’d like to remind everyone that I am not endorsing either side of this clown show,” referring to the ongoing race to the Whitehouse.
The following day, Sean returned to the platform to share that he had heard Taylor’s 2014 track Bad Blood, but admitted he wasn’t exactly a fan of the song.
“I can’t believe I forgot this one but I actually remember a Taylor song called Bad Blood (or something),” he wrote, sharing: “I remember she rhymed “mad love” with “bad blood” and that kind of made me uncomfortable.”
